Site History
Sparks Will Fly wasn’t originally a site. It was a podcast made by four Hunger Games sites.
Huh?
Sparks Will Fly started in May 2010. However, the four original sites (Team Peeta, Quarter Quell, Peeta Makes Bread, The Mockingjay) launched in July/August 2009. The admins of those sites (Samus, Stefanie, Yzzy, and Eric) got together and decided to make a podcast together. While the podcast wasn’t too successful, we enjoyed working with eachother on Hunger Games related material.
Therefore in May 2010, sparkswillfly.org was launched. While the site understandably lost traffic, it continues to be a place for the growing fandom to talk about the series.
